Aaron Jorden founded Capital City Handyman Services in 2020 after being in the plumbing/ construction industry for 18 years. Aaron spent 10 years specializing in underground water/sewer before he moved to the service side of the industry. While working his full-time job, Aaron was also taking about 2 to 3 side jobs a week. These jobs ranged from faucet installs to full bath remodels. But, what started as a side gig, quickly turned into a full-time job.

On Aaron’s side, he became increasingly frustrated with the large service companies he worked for who emphasized sales over service. He was being told to up-charge services that didn’t need to be up-charged and find problems where problems didn’t really exist. There was no honesty and integrity. Aaron was waiting for an opportunity to get out. On the consumer side, homeowners were desperately looking to find someone who was truly a professional that, would treat them right, and would price them fairly. Before long, Aaron’s schedule was full with “side projects” that his business naturally sprouted.
